The UGC-DEB website lists the recognition status of Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) approved to offer programmes through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online modes, along with the approved programmes.
Regulation 22 of the UGC (ODL and Online Programmes) Regulations, 2020 recognizes undergraduate and postgraduate degrees awarded through approved ODL and Online programmes as equivalent to the corresponding degrees obtained through the conventional mode.
Yes. Degrees awarded through UGC-approved ODL and Online programmes are equivalent to those obtained through the conventional mode and are valid for employment in both the government and private sectors, subject to the eligibility requirements of the recruiting organization.
Admissions are based on the eligibility criteria prescribed by the University for the respective programme.
Undergraduate (UG): 3 years The actual duration for UG program is 3 years but according to UGC regulations, the maximum duration is 6 years.
Postgraduate (PG): 2 years The actual duration for PG program is 2 years but according to UGC regulations, the maximum duration is 4 years.
Yes. The programmes are designed for flexible learning, with self-learning materials and online learning sessions available through the Learning Management System (LMS).
The required documents include:
Marksheets of the qualifying examination and Convocation when candidate applies for PG program
Aadhaar Card (or any other valid identity proof, if applicable)
Yes. Students shall apply for more than one programme, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria and complying with the applicable regulations.
The programme fee is payable on a yearly basis.
Examinations are conducted in accordance with the University's examination guidelines
Yes. Fee refunds are processed in accordance with the University's refund policy.
Study materials are available through the University's Learning Management System (LMS).
Students have access to a range of digital library and e-learning resources throughout the programme.
